Hi Margo and thanks! Yeah. The stars collided in order for it to happen. Some sort of funding opportunity made it so that letting me go part time allowed them to hire an additional prof. It is really exciting news especially after the rollercoaster that preceded the decision. I think I had really gotten to this zen place about it all, but certainly have some relief now.
Catching up on the blog after being away, that is great news congratulations!

Yeah! All in all, I think it is really great news! I'll be teaching in the fall. And for those of you looking for a job, we'll be on the market for THREE new tenure-track assistant professors in the fall! Check out the JOE (job openings for economists)!
