Although she is still in confinement (at least separated from our other two cats), Penelope is blending in well with the family.
She adores the FYO.
The other night, as an experiment, we let Penelope sleep in the FYO's room.
Sleep is a relative term for a nocturnal teenager.
In the middle of the night the FYO cried out that the cat was keeping her up and we had to resituate.
The next day, and every day thereafter, to anyone who will listen, the FYO retells the story of the cat in the night.
It is beautiful. She imitates Penelope running in short bursts around the room, jumping and reaching for any mobile object within paws distance.
